Los Angeles Angels pitching coach Mickey Callaway, accused by multiple women of sexual harassment and mistreatment, has been placed on the ineligible list, banning him from Major League Baseball at least through the end of the 2022 season.

Commissioner Rob Manfred said in a statement that an investigation found that “Callaway violated MLB’s policies.”

MLB said in its statement that Callaway will be permitted to apply for reinstatement at the end of the 2022 season.

The Angels suspended Callaway in February.

His behavior spanned five years and his employment with three organizations, including his stint as Cleveland Indians pitching coach and New York Mets manager.
