The Cleveland Browns made a slew of roster moves Saturday, including signing wide receiver Kadarius Toney from the practice squad to the active roster.
With the Browns waiving wide receiver Jaelon Darden, who was claimed by the Seattle Seahawks earlier this week, Toney could be Cleveland’s top punt returner when it faces the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Toney has been previously elevated for two games but has yet to return a punt as a Brown.
Meanwhile, the Browns placed defensive tackle Maurice Hurst II (ankle/foot) and left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. (knee) on injured reserve.
Cleveland also signed wide receiver Michael Woods II from the practice squad to the active roster and elevated defensive tackle T.Y. McGill and wide receiver James Proche from the practice squad.
Rookie cornerback Myles Harden (tibia), who was designated to return to practice last week, was downgraded to out.
