India wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson is widely popular for his cricketing heroics. The Kerala-based cricketer has gained a huge fan following all over the world. Despite being sidelined by the selectors, Samson still maintains a strong image in front of his fans. After being ignored for the ODI World Cup last year, Samson was named in the ODI series against South Africa in December, where he smashed a century in the third match. Recently, Samson won everyone’s heart with his sweet gesture for a specially-able kid.

In a video going viral on social media, Samson was seen playing cricket with a specially-abled kid, who’s dream was to meet the Rajasthan Royals skipper.

Samson had earlier promised his little fan that he would be meeting him. On reaching Kerala after playing the Ranji Trophy, Samson fulfilled his boy’s wish and shared a sweet moment with him.

This gesture by Samson took the internet by storm as the video went viral on social media like a wild fire.

The 29-year-old batter was last seen in the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan in January, this year. Despite being regularly ignored by the selectors, Samson retained his place in the Grade-C category of BCCI’s central contract.

Samson will be seen leading the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024, which will kick-start from March 22. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will be taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening match.

RR will be playing their campaign opener against Lucknow Super Giants on March 24 in Jaipur.
