McCord going to Syracuse after year as OSU QB1

Former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord told ESPN’s Pete Thamel he is transferring to Syracuse.

After spending the previous two seasons behind C.J. Stroud, McCord finally got his chance to start for the Buckeyes and went 11-1 this season.

McCord threw for 3,170 yards with 24 touchdown passes and six interceptions, while completing 65.8% of his passes.

He now heads to Syracuse with one year of eligibility remaining.
