Women suing Watson ordered to disclose names

NFL

A judge ruled Friday that a woman suing Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson must publicly release her name.

Harris County Judge Dedra Harris made the ruling on one of the 22 lawsuits against Watson alleging inappropriate behavior and sexual assault. A similar hearing regarding at least 12 other cases is set for noon ET Friday.

Prior to Friday’s ruling, only two of the women suing Watson had publicly identified themselves.

Watson has denied the allegations in the lawsuits.
