Thiago Silva’s early goal and a late brace from Tammy Abraham gave Chelsea a 3-0 win over West Ham United in Premier League action on Monday.
Silva put Chelsea in front with a powerful header from a Mason Mount corner just 10 minutes into the contest, with the hosts seeing a second effort overruled due to an offside call.
West Ham were unlucky to see two scores overturned for an offside ruling and a foul before heading into halftime.
Following a lull in play on a rainy evening, Chelsea sealed the three points in the 78th minute when Abraham poked a cross from Timo Werner into the net past Lukasz Fabianski.
The England striker slammed in another goal minutes later when he found himself in good position after Christian Pulisic’s header was initially kept out.
