Kudratillo Abdukakhorov will face Sergey Lipinets in an IBF welterweight eliminator at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, but it won’t be on Oct. 10 as planned.

Sources told ESPN that the fight, along with the rest of that card, will move to Oct. 24. It will still be broadcast on Showtime.

Abdukakhorov (17-0, 9 KOs), who is from Uzbekistan and now lives in Malaysia, was having issues getting a visa to come into the United States. Those issues are now being resolved, according to sources.

“We’re ready to kick his ass on any date, the 10th, the 24th, it doesn’t matter to us,” said Alex Vaysfeld, the manager of Lipinets (16-1, 12 KOs).

Abdukakhorov is the IBF’s No. 1 contender, and Lipinets is No. 3. The winner of the bout would become the mandatory challenger for IBF and WBC welterweight champion Errol Spence.

Spence is scheduled to face Danny Garcia on Nov. 21.

Other fights on the card include a junior lightweight bout involving Xavier Martinez and Claudio Marrero, and a junior welterweight matchup involving Malik Hawkins and Subriel Matias.
