o They will need a little help from Baltimore to defeat Pittsburgh also. It would have been more dramatic if the Titans were undefeated going into the final game against Pittsburgh.
o Chris Johnson and LenDale White continue to provide a 1-2 punch at running back for the Titans.
o They will be attempting to achieve three consecutive games of 200+ rushing yards per game against a Houston defense which has given up 127.2 rushing yards per game.
o The Texans have one of the top offenses the league. Averaging 381.5 yards per game.
o The Texans will face a Titans defense that has only given up 181.4 yards per game.
o The Titans have won 7 in a row against the Texans with an all time record of 11-2 including a 5-1 record in Texas (Reliant Stadium).

Pick –Take the Giants -6.5. The trends are pretty good for the Giants. I don’t see the Eagles faring well in this game. Eli Manning and Brandon Jacobs should dominate this game. Plaxico Burress is a B-NFL-list star and the whole situation has been blown out of proportion the doesn’t even have the same magnitude of a Terrell Owens to cause that big of a stir. Look for the Giants to rack up some points. The Eagles will get rattled and Donovan McNabb will play another mediocre game. He will put up good numbers but they will be scraps after the Giants take a substantial lead and the Eagles play catchup.

I just heard Stu Feiner on the Junkies Radio show on WJFK Radio in Washington DC this morning he gave out two free picks for tonight games between Louisville vs Rutgers then San Diego Chargers vs Oakland Raiders.
Stu picked Rutgers -10.5, Rutgers is bowl eligble while Louisville will probably have a losing season this year. Rutgers is playing extremely well.
He likes the Raiders +9 tonight.
Pretty good picks from Stu. You can look for the podcast of the wjfk.com for exact details of his picks. I couldnt jot down the notes quick enough.
2008 NFL Week 14 Spreads and Lines

We are now in in Week 14 of the 2008 NFL season the spreads and lines have been released. The game of the week might be the Cowboys vs the Steelers. The Steelers are 3.5 point favorites playing at home. The Cowboys seem to be back in form, playing with better confidence with Tony Romo at QB. I expect a shootout between the Saints and the Falcons. The Falcons are 3.5 point underdogs in that game. Matt Ryan vs Drew Brees it cant get any better than that. Finally it will be interesting to see which Eagles team shows up against the Giants. The Giants are 6.5 point favorites over the Eagles. The Giants do not seem phased on the latest Plaxico Burress happenings.

• Breakdown and Analysis:
o It looks like it took a couple of weeks for Peyton Manning and the Colts to find their rhythm.
o The Colts will attempt to win their 4th straight.
o Peyton Manning has not fared well against the Chargers.
o Philip Rivers is still the highest rated QB in the AFC with a 100.8 rating.
o LaDanian Tomlinson is still not performing at the level that we used to seeing him perform. This year maybe a wash for him. Fantasy owners have been upset.
o In four games against the Colts, Tomlinson has averaged on 3.6 yard per carry.
o The Colts have been allowing 138.5 rushing yards per game.
o The Chargers have the worst passing defense allowing 267 yards per game.

o INDIANAPOLIS

Pick – Im taking the Colts. I still don’t know how Norv Turner is still the head coach in San Diego, but that is beside the point. Peyton Manning should have a good game against the Chargers. Despite the Colts defensive rushing woes, I don’t see LT doing much in this game either. It will be Rivers against Manning in the air. The veteran Manning will prevail.

Raise your hand if you got screwed in the Pittsburgh Steelers game this weekend ? Crazy isnt it. Another great week of football. Speaking of the Steelers, they are 10.5 point favorites over the Bengals. Buffalo continues to struggle after playing a tough game on Monday night. They are 3 point favorites over the Chiefs. The Game of the Week is probably the Jets vs the Titans. The Titans can continue their win streak and Brett Favre can make his mark again as one of the top QBs to ever play the game. The Jets are 4.5 point underdogs in that game. The Titans have been playing close games. The Eagles 1 point underdogs agains the Ravens. The Ravens should bounce back again. Goof of the week is Donovan McNaab stating that he didnt know ties existed in the NFL. The second game of the week is probably the Giants vs the Cardinals. The Cardinals are 3 point underdogs against the Giants. It will be the Cardinals’ high powered offense against the Giants. Check back Thursday night for our free picks.

Here are the latest lines for Week 11 of the NFL season. The Sports Affiliate went 1-1 in their picks last week. An interesting matchup this week will be the Baltimore Ravens vs the New York Giants. The Giants will be put to the test, they are 6.5 point favorites in this game. We shall see if the Ravens defense can hold the Giants offense. The Tennessee Titans will try to continue their win streak against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Titans are 3 point favors visiting the Jaguars. Pick - Take the Cardinals. I know the spread is around 9.5 But no chance the Cardinals offense will not score at will against the 49ers. The trends are also not in favor of the 49ers. Look for Kurt Warner to have a good game. I wouldn’t even be surprised if Mike Singletary brings J.T. O’Sullivan back in this game. I see Shaun Hill struggling but not turning the ball over to O’Sullivan. Singletary maybe a good coach down the road, but I think he may prove to be too erratic. Then again it is the 49ers.

Pick – Take the Ravens. Im not sure why there is no spread on this one, but clearly the odds makers think the Ravens are the favorite otherwise they would give the Ravens a 1 or 1.5 point spread because they are the away team. That is not the case. Look for another strong defense again by the Ravens. Sage Ronsenfels will need to minimize the mistakes. We know the Ravens secondary is strong but their rushing defense is holding teams to 64 yards per game.
