The USC Trojans take on the Oregon State Beavers this Thursday on ESPN in a Prime Time showdown against a PAC-10 team.

USC continues their hunt for their 7th straight conference title. They return to Oregon State after two years where they loss there two years ago. They have not play in Oregon State since. USC has outscored opponents 87 to 10.
Oregon State is 1-2, they beat Hawaii 45-7, loss to Stanford 36-28, and beat then 19th ranked Penn State at the time 45-14. I will have my prediction and picks here by Wednesday night. Please check back for my analysis.

Virginia Tech and UVA College Football Week 1 Big Losers

Its good to see teams like Virginia Tech and University of Virginia lose this week. I like nothing more than to see these two teams lose. Why ? I’m tired hearing those fans act like they always have a chance at the BCS National Title year in and year out. But year in and year out they only settle for a shot at the Fiesta or Chic-Fila bowl. Im tired of hearing Beamer Ball… UVA on the otherhand got crushed by No. 3 ranked USC. Who schedules a game like this so early in the season ?

I do know that my lock from Robert Ferringo’s pick of the week Alabama +4.5 over Clemson was a big fat winner. No. 24 Alabama crushed No 9 Clemson 34-10. Either Alabama deserves to be ranked higher or Clemson is not that good. Alabama’s offense especially their running attack was pretty unstoppable. The odds on that Alabama vs Clemson games was too good to pass up.
You can add Clemson to the big fat losers list, but I dont hate on Clemson as I hate on Hokies or Uva.
