Tom Brady Out for the year with a torn ACL
Well it wasnt an offseason injury that kept Tom Brady off the field today. Brady suffered a torn ACL that will sideline him for the rest of the season. His back up Matt Cassel filled in adequately after having a not so impressive pre-season. But when you have Randy Moss to throw to your game will be elevated anyways.

I would no longer put the Patriots as a contender. They are still a playoff team but I doubt they will be the favorite now. The odds to win the AFC Championship will definitely change. I hope you didnt put all your money on the Patriots. The Chargers didnt exactly look too great either today. They were upset by the Carolina Panthers on a last second play. The Browns still have a ways to go. I would say the Pittsburgh Steelers are now the contender to take the AFC.
