***** Evans vs Liddell Knockout Video - Click here for details *****

Here are my latest predictions along with the latest odds from Betus.com
this month’s UFC 88 has an amazing fight card starting with Rich “Ace” Franklin vs Matt“The Hammer” Hamill and the main event Chuck “The Iceman” Lidell vs Rashad “Sugar” Evans. A great fight card. Last month’s UFC PPV had some surprises and I went 2-2 on my predictions for UFC 87. Expect to see some surprise KO’s.

Main Event: Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell (-260) vs Rashad “Sugar” Evans (+200)
What a great main event. The Iceman is coming off a 3 round decision fight with Dan Hnderson while Rashad is coming off a draw match with Matt Bisping. This match will prove to everyone if The Iceman still has it or is his career done? Rashad has proven himself with an undefeated record and excellent wrestling skill. The huge favorite is on The Iceman but I will have to pick Rashad to win this fight. He is much younger and faster than the older Iceman. Im a huge fan of Chuck but its time to move on to a younger generation of fighters.

Winner: Rashad “Sugar” Evans 3 round decision

Rich “Ace” Franklin (-230) vs Matt “The Hammer” Hamill (+180)
Another good fight. Matt Hamill should be 5-0 at this point, his only controversial lost was to Michael Bisping. Rich Franklin hasn’t been the same dominating “Ace” since he got a facelift from Anderson Silva. Now that Rich as gone back to his natural weight class he should dominate this fight with his experience.

Winner: Rich “Ace” Franklin 2nd round TKO

Karo Parisyan (-260) vs Yoshiyuki Yoshida (+200)
Karo Parisyan is coming off a lost to Thiago Alves due to knees and punches. Yoshida is another one of those explosive Japanese fighters with great ju-jitsu and takedown skills. Karo will have trouble defending Yoshida’s shooting and takedown skills. I see Yoshida giving the Parisyan family another lost.

Winner: Yoshiyuki “Zenko” Yoshida 3 rounds decision

Dan “Hendo” Henderson (-200) vs Rousimar “Toquinho” Palhares (+160)
Dan Henderson is coming off two losses to two strong opponents, one from good friend Rampage and another from Anderson Silva. Rousimar Palhares is a new UFC fighter with an 8-1 record and 1-0 in the UFC with his only win in UFC 84 versus Ivan Salaverry. He is a great fighter coming from Brazil with an excellent ju-jitsu background. If Henderson keeps this match standing up he can pull off the win. Rousimar is not known for his boxing skills. Dan is coming off two losses and has to come out with a win versus a younger fighter.

Winner: Dan Henderson 1st round KO
